Here are some transcriptions of Jamie Oldaker's grooves he played on a live collection of Eric Clapton concerts from the ‘70's called Crossroads 2. (The indicator CD1T2 means CD one track 2 of the CD Crossroads 2)I really enjoy checking out live material because of the added energy a live audience lends to the performance. This four CD box set is an excellent study in blues and deep rooted rock ‘n roll. Jamie is a master at adding subtle variations and colors to a groove without changing the feel–which is what it's all about.

CD1T2 Have You Ever Loved a Woman

CD1T3 Willie and the Hand Jive

CD2T3 I Shot the Sheriff

I transcribed the complete end of a chorus on I Shot the Sheriff starting at 00:48. Loop the first two measures to get the basic groove of the song.

CD2T6 Eye Sight to the Blind

CD3T7 Cocaine
